David Chipperfield’s addition to the St. Louis Art Museum is scheduled to open in June.  The design is intended to be a contemporary complement to Cass Gilbert’s 1904 main building and will increase gallery space by 30%.  Galleries in the addition will be lit by skylights set in polished concrete.
